They were both lucky that Hogsmeade wasn't that far from the castle, as their feet were already sore from the shopping they'd been doing all day. They'd dropped their bags off there, first, before walking down to Hogsmeade--using one of the 'secret' passage ways.
It was a lovely Summer day, and there wasn't a rain cloud in site, Rhea decided as she pulled the door open to the Pub. She and her cousin, Reese, were just busy having a girls day, and now, they'd decided to stop by the Three Broomsticks to get something to drink.
"I think I'm going to die of dehydration," Rhea remarked, smiling as they both walked into the pub. Rhea wore a pair of white capri's, and then a pink, thin strapped tanktop on top. Her blonde hair was let down, from the usual up high messy bun(which she always threw her hair into, just because it was quick and people normally stressed her out through the day). A pair of her aviator sunglasses--much like the ones that Dane owned--were ontop of her head as she went to the bar, getting their drinks.
Walking back to the booth in which Reese had situated herself in, Rhea sat down, across from her, putting the drinks on the table. Holding up her glass, she smiled, "To friends, and the soon to be best school year so far."

Last year had been total chaos and hell even though a few good things had happened to. Two years ago everything had seemed perfect, like her life was finally going smooth. Back then Reese had still lived in New Zealand and had fallen in love with Jake, the guy of her dreams. He had proposed to her –and she had said yes- but he got killed the same night. Two months later Reese found out she was pregnant and nine hard, cold and lonely months later Nathan was born. About a month after his birth Reese discovered that she did have a father and an entire family, the Andonevska’s.
Ever since Jake had died Reese had fallen into a dark hole and she had been depressed for a long time. He had been the love of her life and now that he was gone she felt alone, like someone up there did not want to her to have love. Before Jake she had been going from guy to guy, from girl to girl and it had not been pretty. She had been hurt a lot of time but when Jake showed up her life got turned around and she had never been happier.
Now? That was all gone.
Cause of everything she hadn’t been able to graduate on her own school so right before the summer started Reese and Nathan had moved from New Zealand back to Europe. Right now she was living with her father and she would be a seventh year at Hogwarts along with her two brother, Dane and Tyson. This year Reese hoped it would all get better and it really seemed to be the case now that she was surrounded by friends and family.
After working a lot this summer while everyone else helped to with looking after Nate, Reese had managed to save some money to go shopping with Rhea. Sure, most money went to text books, other school supplies and clothes for Nathan but she had a little left to buy something for herself. And she had, one very nice black dress.
Toasting with her cousin Reese smiled faintly, “To family, and lets hope it will be.” Right now she was still going through a lot of stuff and it did leave a mark on her. Unlike Rhea Reese couldn’t live responsibility free, she had a little boy now and couldn’t go partying as much anymore. Rhea was one lucky girl, but Reese would never trade the memories she had off Jake and her little boy Nathan for anything on the entire world.
Wearing a simple dark brown top and a denim skirt Reese appearance had grown from teenage to adult in the last year. Her brown hair was pulled back in a bun and loose strands of hair were framing her face.

"To family." Rhea repeated, before taking a sip of the drink. She smiled, at her cousin. Her cousin, who was so strong. So much stronger than she, herself was. Rhea, secretly, looked up to the girl. They were close, and at times, it was like they were sisters.
Reese had her own siblings, though, and honestly, Rhea did too. Rhea had a twin, but she'd never really met the girl, ever. Of course, Rhea'd grown up with her, until they'd been six...when their parents got a divorce. Now, Rhea hadn't seen her sister in ten years.
It was because of what happened between her parents, and seeing how broken her mother had been once her dad left, that Rhea'd gotten a bit scared of love. Still, she did her best to open herself up as much as she could, doing her best not to worry about the person leaving her.
Now, this year was going to change everything. There was a TriWizard Tournament coming up, which meant students from different schools would be coming to their school. That, alone, would change her life. Her father was coming over with one of the schools--as well as her sister. Of course, she wasn't supposed to know this--but she couldn't have helped but read the letter that'd been laying there on her mothers desk.
Secrets. One thing a family shouldn't be based upon. Rhea smiled, a little bit, at Reese, watching her carefully. The girl was so beautiful, really.
"How's Nathan doing?"

Even though Reese and Rhea were close Rhea did not know all about what was going on inside of Reese. What all the little details were and how she was feeling exactly. Sure, everyone knew she had been through a lot the last two years but no one knew she was giving up on love. That the smile on her face nine times out of ten was a fake. That she wasn’t as strong as people thought she was.
Still, you would not hear Reese b*tch and moan about it. Never.
Shopping with Rhea was nice cause Rhea did not ask how she was doing every single moment. Not to mention they could laugh about the silliest things, knew often what the other was thinking so no words needed to be said and liked the same things in fashion. It was great to have family and Reese was thankful that Rhea wasn’t just her friend but also her blood-related family.
After taking a few sips she set the glass down on the table and rubbed her hands over her skirt. Lately both Reese and Nathan had been having trouble with being separated for more than few hours. She knew it was good to have time for herself and that her dad would look well after his grandson…it was just that it was hard. Now, six hours later she did feel herself become a bit anxious to go back home again.
“He’s been the sweetest baby boy like ever and he is growing so fast.” Just like his daddy had been, Nathan was a calm boy…a quiet one who already slept entire nights without waking up. Of course that did not happen every single night but they seemed to occur more and more often. “He sleeps through the entire night every now and then, which I can tell you is really a whish come true.” she said, really glad he did that.

Rhea listened to Reese, intentivley. She smiled as she listened to her favorite cousin talk about her son. He was a very beautiful baby, and she was so happy for Reese, who seemed really happy with her son. When Rhea'd first heard that Reese had found true love, Rhea'd had to hide her jealousy, but it soon wore off, and she had been just purely happy for Reese.
Rhea was just happy that Reese was starting over--and it seemed as if she was moving on. Well, at least Rhea hoped she was moving on. Reese deserved to be happy, after everything she'd been through. Rhea wanted nothing more than for Reese to find another guy who loved her more than anything, and loved Nathan as well. Reese deserved it, completely.
Rhea, on the other hand . . . well, she dreamed of love. She dreamed of happiness, and eternal bliss, and that one guy who she'd walk down a path of flowers to. She dreamed of a family of her own, and a little girl or boy to love as much as Reese loved Nathan. She dreamed of it all--but she wasn't sure if she deserved it, nor if she'd ever get it.
There was a boy she dreamed of having it all with, Dane Matthews. However, it seemed as if other girls had his attention more than his best friend did. At least, the way she wanted it
Rhea slowly sipped her drink, smiling a bit. It wasn't as big as her normal smile--or the smile she got while normally being around Reese, Nathan, Mom or her Uncle, but it was a smile.
"I'm really glad, love."

In a few days time it would be the day that Jake had been killed. Two whole years he would be dead then, but to Reese it still hurt just as much as two years ago. People said it would get easier in time but that did not mean it would hurt less. Jake was still in her heart and would always be just there. A picture of him she carried around in a locket that hung on a chain around her neck. She couldn’t let it go. It was just too hard.
She nodded, hoping the topic would soon be switched. Reese did not like to talk about herself or something that had to do with Jake. Course, people were only worried or wanted to help but sometimes that only made things worse. So, whenever she got the chance Reese would switch subjects and was actually becoming pretty good at it. It just sucked the people she was close with usually noticed. Annoying big brothers…
“So, are you going to tell him?” she knew, she had always known Rhea had been having a thing for Dane. The look in her nieces eyes said a lot, just like the visible sparkle when Dane would say she looked good or just random hugged her. “You know how boys are, or well my brother. He doesn’t see anything until you hit him in the face with it.” Not that she would meddle, but Dane could be so blind sometimes.
